I am a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, class of 1980. My time at the Academy instilled in me a strong sense of duty, discipline, and leadership—values that continue to guide me in my professional and personal life. While on active duty, I was selected as the company grade Officer of the Year in 1988, and earned a MBA from the University of West Florida. After my service, I transitioned into the business sector, where I have had the honor of serving on several boards of directors in the Pensacola area. My experience on these boards has provided me with a deep understanding of strategic plans, organizational development, and community engagement. I received an honorary doctorate from Pensacola Christian College in 2015. Being an active member of the Pensacola community is important to me.
